My poodle does the same thing when you tease him. He doesn't bite actually because he knows he will get punished but he tries to act all tough and angry but in reality he is afraid of everything, even flies - im not joking. He is afraid of flies, not speaking about, birds, cats and other small dogs. Yep, dogs are weird.
