So, did they already have some mediocre game sitting around and they just decided to license the Conan name and pretend it was built in the Conan universe? Possibly a game about Odysseus or something? Or maybe the ancient Greeks? Throw in a snake statue and now it's Conan?

Very stabby trailer but I can't tell what the gameplay is like. I would guess it's a 3rd person action game? But sometimes it gave off an RTS vibe. Could be first person, as well.

Age of Conan has been hotly anticipated for months. When I left World of Warcraft, many people were saying either that they were leaving gaming until Conan, or staying with Wow only until Conan. From what I hear, I would find the game uncomfortable, but then I've given up gaming altogether except as a spectator. My school has a CS game design major, so I continue to be very interested in them academically. I'm very interested to hear what women playing this game think, because they only have two choices, from my point of view: be untrue to the canon, or make the place very uncomfortable for most women.

So it's an MMORPG?? Wouldn't have guessed that.

Oh cool! A MMORPG that's set in a fantasy world! Excellent! Was wondering when someone would do that. This looks totally different from every other MMORPG out there.
