Whoa, you actually voted for my Gang San Eh Music Vid? (which to be honest wasn't that mind blowing with its psudo noir film-esque student film stuff)

That's quite impressive, regarding you probably didn't have a clue as to what the lyrics meant. And judged the vid purely on its musical merit.

Frankly when I sift Korean music in Videosift I do not expect them to be sifted. They're purely there for self reference and to add onto my Koreans! playlist collection.

I commend your sense of diverse curiosity and acute sonorous sense.

Being the sort of person who watches a lot of guitar music vids on youtube, I've seen this video before. I watched it all the way through and then wept silently at how bland it was.

Petrucci is a very good guitarist, but my opinion is that he's had some kind of guitar charisma bypass. Everything he plays bores me to tears (although it might occassionally be interesting in a technical kind of way).

I suppose this minor rant is in place of a downvote. grrr!

I was actually looking for animated flash music vid of 'frou frou - let go' some time ago. I couldn't find it easily, so I'd figured I would find it some other day. That was 3 months ago. And today I just saw your 'frou frou - breathe in' submission.

At that point I thought to myself 'ah crap, lost another 2-3 sifts to Issykitty...' Because not surprisingly, someone as diligent as IssyKitty don't take her sweet time getting things done You've done the same thing to Radiohead sifts, sarah chang sifts, Pavarotti & classical sifts, cats & dogs sifts, and the national geographic sifts.

ALL BECAUSE I'M LAZY!

I'm forced to do my searches whenever I get the chance nowadays, otherwise I lose them all to you because we have similar sifting tastes in some genres.

I say some, because I definitely remember seeing few of your sifts that I had absolutely no clue what exactly it was about

Ohhhhh Here's how it went... I never watch random music vids, I only ever bother with ones I already know. But seeing as I just posted a music one of my own, I thought well, I really should just go have a look. This one was the first unsifted one I came across, in fact it was right at the top. So I watched it, thought it was ok and upvoted it for the nifty lyric factor. So now you're saying that it's Alexia's favourite band, the lyric is totally relevant to you and I found it for no apparent reason... It's happening even through here, hahaha. Enough is enough!

Love this song. Doing the music vid with sock puppets just makes the social parody all that more yummy.

for me, one of the best things about the sift is the ability to pickup new music. i happen to be a big music nut and it's simply much more entertaining to me than a lot of other stuff that gets sifted. and as JAPR put it, people's tastes vary so much that it can be very dificult to get songs sifted. i have tons of music vids in the scrap heap, but if i gave one person a cool song or band to enjoy then to me it's all worth it.

no hon, its not even that the last one isn't my cup of tea... its that a lot of my vid-watching is done at the laptop while nursing the baby and thus I often turn down the sound. If a vid is long and requires me to listen carefully, I might just not watch it for a while, until I can get to the desktop and pay attention to it. I noticed the vid yu linked is LONG and has people talking - obviously I need a decent amount of time to sit and watch it and apay attention with sound. I just haven't had that luxery recently... sorry. Most of the vids I've voted on were either vids I have already seen (esp most music vids) or I watched them with sound off or very very low.
I promise I will watch what you linked sometime tomorrow.
