Tesla can’t keep up with demand, but they’re nearly the only game in town….but not for long. This is the problem with generalities: there is almost always an exception. This happened to me a while ago: The grocery store I go to can get busy and has a pretty small parking lot, so it is often full. It is also one-way only so the lanes are narrow. I was loading my groceries into my car, and another car was waiting for my spot. When I finished, I went to return the cart, but the driver of the other car rolled down the window and told me not to bother, and that she will take the cart herself.

Now, I could have ignored her and returned the cart, which according to the video would have been the "correct" thing to do, but that would have simply lengthened the time the other driver had to wait (as well as the cars behind her since they couldn't go around her), for no real benefit other than to return the cart. Instead, I pushed the cart out of the way, got into my car and left. Even though it was technically "wrong" for me to have done this, I feel it was the correct thing to do in that situation.

The protests in India absolutely did immensely more harm to India's economy than the convoy here did in Canada. The protests in support of Floyd were again unequivocally more violent than the convoy in Canada.

There really is no basis by which to point to the convoy's actions and find them in any way unique or distinct from multiple other protests within Canada, or ones abroad that have been either given more latitude, or outright embraced and supported.

On this one, Bob, assuming you are not being ironic, I totally agree with you. Most people drive about 11.5 miles each way to and from work--and most cars used for non-work go less distance. Range for at least one car in a family isn't really the hang up.

A Tesla Model X (just to pick one) goes 0-60 in around 3.8 seconds. 3.8 seconds is ridiculous fast. The Plaid variant does it in 2.5 seconds. The fastest internal combustion engine I've ever personally lived with did/does it in 5.9. Thus, moms hauling groceries can flatten the bags against the rear hatch about twice as fast as me. I am a poser lol.

The F-150 pick up is rumored to do it..4.4 seconds. Good grief. The load will fly out of the bed.

Those are FUN vehicles.
