Why ALIENS Is the Mother of All Action Movies
I have only one complaint. Calling "Get away from her you bitch!" the most famous line underplays the fact that this film is chock full of the most quotable lines in film history.
Compared to just about anything Apone says, also Hudson and many from Hicks, that line is pedestrian.
-"I like to keep this handy, for close encounters."
-"How do I get out of this chicken-shit outfit?"
-"Game over man... game over!"
-"Well why don't you put her in charge?!"
-"Me and my team of ultimate bad asses are here to protect you!... We got nukes, we got knives, sharp sticks," etc.
-"I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit... it's the only way to be sure."
-"A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade - I LOVE THE CORPS!"
-"What do you want me to do, fetch your slippers for you?" etc. and "Look into my eye......"
I'll stop before I end up pasting the entire script.
Edit: One final complaint - i consider Aliens to be tarnished by associations with modern wonder woman, which IMO was indicative of the abject failure of rich Hollywood males to produce a worthy female superhero.

"Because I Was Loaded, Okay?!" Remix
I am absolutely loving this show, too. Lots of great mystery. But for some reason, the actor whom I always thought was one of the best (Joseph Fiennes) is actually quite poor in it. Very melodramatic - hence the ever-so-growingly famous line in the video!
But great story lines nonetheless.
Having an opinion is above Obama's pay grade
Short memory on the reversing of campaign positions there I think. You don't have to go back far to see back pedaling on politician's campaign promises. To be fair and include both parties, Bush Sr. promised no new taxes with his famous line... right before raising taxes. Same with Clinton. Clinton ran on a platform promising tax breaks right before causing what some called the largest tax increase in history. Although that isn't true, it was still a 180 on policy with a very sizable increase.

Another famous Democrat reverser would be LBJ. Running on a platform to pull out of Vietnam, he ended up sending more troops. The basic point is that campaign promises are garbage. You have to look beyond their words and see actions. How have they voted in the past and what do they really support? I've seen Obama's record and I don't like it. I am hard pressed to find anything I can agree with him on outside of a troop draw down. Some of his more moderate and reasonable sounding positions now are contrary to his political history. I think he has very socialist ideals and is very much in favor of a big government. McCain is also full of shit in his campaign platform. He knows conservatives don't want to vote for him and he has to pander to them for support. His voting history is just as contrary in many cases to the things he pretends to favor.

Al Green: Take Me To The River
OH YEAH Al Green baby!!
And as a bonus we get to hear the paragon of hip Don Cornelius say his famous line, "and you can bet your last money, it's gonna be a stone gas, honey! I'm Don Cornelius, and as always in parting, we wish you love, peace and soul!"
The Adventures of the Little Prince
This is the intro to the Japanese based cartoon series loosely based on the book "The Little Prince" that aired in Europe and North America in the 1980s. If you are wondering why I sifted the Japanese version it's because the dubbed one just fails for me, I like the song in this one. My mother gave the book to read a while back. I loved it.
The show was made by the Knack animation studio and first aired in Japan in 1978 under the title "Hoshi no Ojisama Puchi Puransu" (Prince of the Stars: Petit Prince). In it, the Little Prince often traveled to Earth to help people.
Star Wars in 60 seconds
Bah...didn't even have the most famous line in it: "I'm Luke Skywalker, I'm here to rescue you"
