I didn't read any of the comments so I don't know if anyone said this yet but there was a video of a couple kittens that had this same disease, a loud noise paralyzes it for a few seconds. I wouldn't call that cute or funny really. I have a pretty good sense of humor too. Just seems cruel fucking with someone's/something's disease.


It might be a good idea to read what people are saying before chiming in.

I for one did not know about this disease before, so I laughed.

I'm not sure where you got your information but in general this condition is very manageable and only incapacitates an animal for a few moments per episode.

Unless the kitten is constantly exposed to startling stimulation there should be no issues with it getting enough nutrition.

Includes an aweful lot of face-plants. And sweet mother of fuck, that rally accident was code brown for the camera guy -- pure luck that he didn't get lobotomized.

Some friends of mine were drinking heavily in a pub in Primrose Hill in London when one of them noticed Robert Plant had come into the bar. Being an old school metaller he rushed to the toilet to have a quick puke so he'd be in a fit state to meet him. When he came out, apparently with sick wiped across his face, Plant had gone. He lent heavily on the bar and slurred to the guy next to him how upset he was to have missed a chance to meet one of his heroes. It was Michael Palin who said 'Yes, Robert is a lovely bloke isn't he?' and they went on to have a nice chat. Michael Palin is a legend.

Kids fuck up all the time and the human body is not that fragile, no not even on a kid. If you mean to tell me, you have not seen COUNTLESS kids fucking face plant hard and get up fine (well, far less dramatic than your face surgery anyway, there's going to be a bruise), then your own experience with kids must be very limited and you're talking out that thing people have on the internet, their ass.

Couple of points, your face would be awful close to the seat back in front of you if you do happen to be in for some serious turbulence or bumps, even non emergency events could have you "simulate" a face plant.

Secondly, at the British Midland crash in the mid eighties in northern england (Kegworth??), a common occurrence was sitting passengers legs flailing forward on impact and being broken on the seat in front. Seems that would be more pronounced if your standing. Also, the passengers on that flight who were able to fold down the seat in front (if it was empty) were more likely to survive, others suffered serious head injuries or were killed outright by hitting the seatback in front.

Awhile back I did a face plant while riding my mountain bike and went to emergency to get fixed up. I was there for between three and four hours, and ended up with a $20,000+ hospital bill ($12,000 of it were for MRI/CT scans). It sucks not to have insurance.

I dunno, my favorite move was the flying face plant. When I saw him take off, I thought for a brief instant...o here comes something cool. I was right, but not in the way I expected.

That's pretty fucked up playin' on someones fears. However the face plant gets my vote.
