This guy does a better Skrillex than Skrillex

to most dubstep junkies, Skrillex really isn't dubstep; he's more electro glitch. True dubstep is much more sedate:

What many people call dubstep nowadays is frequently referred to as "brostep," a term with derogatory intentions. I'm not divided much; I like the older classic 2-step/ambient style dubstep, and I can dig the newer "brostep" with outrageous bassy drops.
FWIW one of the "founders" of brostep, Rusko, thinks that many artists are going way too far. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEuFTBG0Rbg

I thought Skillrex was the worst dubstep had to offer. Imitation Skillrex is way worse. D:

Just because it is 'electronic' doesn't make it techno. Techno to me means, euro-trash shit building to a crescendo over 15 minutes. This is just a good electro pop song.

And it was like Vooom!, reality hits you hard, bro!

You are welcome! You have so much good stuff in your pqueue, now I have to reserve a few days to go through your sifted ones too! I really like your mix of (weird) techno/electronice/whatever-it-is-kinda-funky-cool-stuff. I mean, who would have known I'd like stuff like 'Cyber dark space gothic electro from Moscow' And congrats on the diamond! ":)

thanks for your upvotes, many of those had been waiting to see the end of their queue-state long enough, now I hope others will give them a chance too!
it's quite a few, they're now in my sifted videos folder so you can consider them later as well:)

Dave Grohl dances to A-Ha's "Take On Me"

80's electro pop had a resurgence, and since maybe 2004 can be regularly heard in the mix at clubs and 'cool' bars.
They keep on playing the entire Talking Heads 'Stop Making Sense' soundtrack at a bar I go to a lot... not that I'm complaining, but, I mean, there's new music thats drum-heavy, synth/electro-heavy, psychedelic-influenced stuff out there... was listening to the last Bear in Heaven and Deerhunter albums today at work, for instance. Same story with 80's electro pop.
... wow, wondering comment...

I wish Bear in Heaven's albums sounded a bit more like their live shows - they kick it up substantially in concert!
