When I was their age, I would have recognized an Edison wax cylinder or an early phone with no dial. It's so sad to me that kids are no longer exposed to historical technology. Don't they even watch Nick at Night (I'm just assuming that's still a thing)?

By the way, multiculturalism isn't very special or even unique to London. Eventually (and it's already the case in some places), the demographics will be so similarly heterogeneous in most Western-European and North-American cities that traveling will become pointless, asides from seeing landmarks. Although the look of the land may be similar,the feel of the land will have melted away. It isn't a badge of honour to say the most important city in the UK is less and less British every year.

How would one explain the Hezbollah flag, I am curious? Does your typical John Chesterfield have some concern for a rebellious Lebanese political party? I think the answer rather lies in the fact that Mohamed is the 2nd most common given name in the UK.

So what I'm saying is..."calling socialism bad all the time, is oversimplifying things to a scale that's too black or white." That is...it's not a precise statement (as accuracy can be relative).

I didn't miss anything, chief. you are arguing that black AND white are bad, and that we should always strive for some grey (read: black). what kind of argument is saying evil (black) is only bad some of the time or that white is bad unless it is mixed with black? is slavery only bad some of the time? how about murder? why do you think majority oppression (socialism) is ever good? why do you think mixing freedom with "moderate" oppression is better than freedom with no oppression?

what about charity is incompatible with individualism (capitalism)? nothing.
what about freedom is incompatible with collectivism (socialism, democracy)? everything.

you think that majority force is the only way to leave people non-f*cked and guarantee basic needs and necessities? what kind of sh*tty outlook do you have about humanity that you think nobody would help another person unless they are forced? if thats true, we deserve to go extinct.
