It´s even worse when you understand the original next to the subtitles.

Imagine watching something like, lets say the "Path of the righteous man" scene from Pulp Fiction over and over and over again with "funny" subtitles in another language when you understand the original... It`s just not possible to see the humor anymore after a while.

Pt.2

Kaufman is pure genius and Charlie Rose is a great interviewer. I get a kick out of the way Rose interacts with the guests, especially actors and directors. He's always got amazing talent on that are allowed to open up about their work in ways they don't seem to be able to anywhere else.

Firefly was better than most of the crap on TV that gets renewed year after year. I mean it was no TNG or Charlie Rose, but it was at least worth watching.
Network execs are in a death-spiral of dumbing things down.
Early-adopters of new technology are, on average, smarter than the rest of the population. Internet is replacing broadcast for a lot of people.

Charlie Rose interviews are always insightful, thanks for this.
