No love for the Bruins? I'm appalled.

I somewhat support the Pats because my dad liked them because Brady is the QB and he went to Michigan and the Lions sucked for so long (yes weird logic). I don't care much for the Sox (or baseball in general) except for when they beat the Yankees.

It's fantastic for the parents, and the son though, I'm very happy for them, it's just sad that the system has been so subverted that this has to happen.

That's irrelevant, I'm not blaming them.

Now I'm sitting here just shaking my head in bemusement, amazement, how-is-that-possiblement. Questions questions questions....

Is everything made special for his height? And surely finding skates for feet the big. And his reach... with a larger than life hockey stick.... Or is he not allowed a big stick -- are hockey sticks regulation size?

I clearly know nothing about hockey, but this guy has me awe-struck.

Made me cry.
Then made me gape. HOW BIG IS THAT CAPTAIN?????

Zdeno Chara is the largest player in the NHL, 6'9" tall, 255 lbs. Without skates or pads. A giant.

Whose Bs stole what?! The Boston Bruins are among the most Canadian teams in the NHL. Only one team, Edmonton, has fewer non-Canadian players (7) than Boston (10). So, congrats on your Canadians overwhelming the other Canadians. I cheer for the team with the most Canadians on it, which, naturally, is the team that's going to win the Cup anyway. >> ^bmacs27:
My B's stole your drinking vessel :-P.

You don't seem to understand. We pay the Canadians, and thus they are OURS. All the semantics in the world won't take away our chalice :-).

My little cousin used to be a forward in a Canadian private school. Now he's a marine in AfPak because he wasn't tough enough.

Lindsay Lohan - Fashionably late

Sketch says...

Apparently Westwood Village Theater, since the Bruin theater is right across the street. Google win! Damn, I should have gone over there!

Perhaps she's late because she had to deal with the God damned 405 on/off-ramp traffic on Wilshire at rush hour! 45 Damn minutes sometimes just to get from the Santa Monica side to the Westwood side, and Sprinkles is closing, damnit! But I digress.

Intense hockey check results in broken glass, injuries

ant says...

>> ^Zifnab:
The injuries were to some of the fans.
From the Boston Globe:
Lucic's satisfaction, however, was tempered by the injuries the incident caused. Two fans were treated for facial cuts on site by emergency technicians, then were transported to a local hospital for further examination.
Two other fans suffered cuts on their hands while attempting to wipe glass off themselves. The game was delayed for approximately 10 minutes while the pane was replaced and the glass cleaned up. TD Banknorth Garden officials cleared fans from the first two rows and relocated them in a suite.
