This was sifted already... sorta died in a queue and then went dead.
It was the same video I think though.
Pilot Suspended For Being on Terrorist Watch List
What I want to know is: Where's the money? The art of taxation (and gouvernment) as Terry Pratchett so eloquently describes it, is to get the largest amount of milk for the smallest amount of moo. These terror watch lists are rediculous, do nothing for security and are at best an exercise in burocratic masturbation. Somebody has to profit, or it would have been thrown out long ago. So who?
Discworld - First Game Based On Terry Pratchett's Novels
>> ^Hominid:
Not a fan of that death, he wasn't talking in all caps. I also can't see Discworld's Death saying "bugger off" or "I could murder a good curry." He'd be too dispassionate and refined.
He says almost those exact things in the death trilogy. Mort perhaps.

Terry Pratchett bringing the fun!
Great post on two fronts:
1) Funny joke
2) I don't think I've ever actually seen Terry Pratchett talk before, so there's a bonus.
Charlton Heston Discusses Alzheimers
Terry Pratchett has raised the awareness of Alzheimer's quite a lot recently (in the UK atelast) by declaring his condition. I hope they make great progress on treatments for this.
Terry Pratchett on Alzheimer's Disease

Olbermann Does What he Does to Clinton
Hey Lithic, wake up already, the five exclamation marks stand for Jeremiah Wrights's anger against the white man and The United States of America, and the reality that some people refuse to accept it. Who cares about Terry Pratchett. Was he insane? How would he know what five exclamation marks stand for? Did he surround himself around insane people? Did he study insane people? Oh, I get it, your making excuses too. Next time really say something, o.k.

What are you reading? (Books Talk Post)
I'm finishing The Wind-up Bird Chronicle by Haruki Murakami (i love his style). Otherwise I'm addicted to Terry Pratchett's Discworld series - the man writes like 2 books a year so no fear of withdrawal symptoms yet. I also just re-read the whole Takeshi Kovacs trilogy by Richard K. Morgan (Altered Carbon, Broken angels, Woken Furies) and two of his other novels called Black man (aka Thirteen in the U.S.) and Market forces.
