Maybe try reading the context in which it was posted. If you still can't figure it out, well... I'm not your reading comprehension coach.

I think there's an implied 'rational' before that statement.

After all nobody thinks otherwise. If they think at all they'll figure it out.

I had to read about it on James Cameron's website to figure it out.

Also, if it were real, she didn't signal. If I came around looking for a spot, I might have taken that spot assuming she'd just pulled away from it. I would have felt bad about it afterwards, but it wouldn't have been an unreasonable assumption on my part.

Of course, I probably I would have seen her reverse lights (er, is that what they're called?) and figured it out. But they must work differently in China because I'm used to them being white.

There was a DB setting our new hosting automatically "fine-tuned" by setting it to a value about 7x what it was on our old server (along with setting lots of other variables). Turns out this one value needs to be small (or disabled completely).

Fortunately, I just moved Neatorama/NeatoShop to new servers at the same host and the problems there were more prominent and specific. After over a week of trying to figure it out there, I caught a break yesterday and learned what the problem was and fixed it promptly.

I then made the same change on VS and immediately our curse of latency was lifted.

One person has voted the site's not faster. I wish they'd elaborate on what still seems slow.

Finally learned this about 6 months ago. ...I'm 33. Better late than never.

I have yet another story to add about this.

One of my better female pals got in contact with me about 2 months ago by standing outside of where I worked waiting for me to come out.

I walked out of the office and was surprised to see her but she was agitated. She had a CD in her hand that she could not figure out how to load on her computer and said that two men had assaulted her in a Safeway; but had the evidence on the CD's.

I let her know that I would absolutely try and figure this out and that the discs were safe with me, I wasn't going to misplace them, etc etc.

She had gone to the security of Safeway (a third party company inside Safeway) and asked for the tapes of the times but they gave her some sort of strange format - you had to install a really shitty program and then the evidence was just a small window on the screen.

I figured out how to export the videos high resolution & full screen.

Basically, what happened was she was at a Coinstar and totally looking very pretty but these dudes came up behind her and leveraged their stuff towards her and grabbed her ass, twice. Once coming in and leaving.

When they left and did the same thing, this strong woman who I know, flipped out. She ran out after them but a cop was already waiting for one of them.

They had both been stealing shit all day long and garnered the attention of the authorities and the cops were on to them. Probably, very high on drugs.

Later it was found out that one of the dudes raped a child and also ran over a person as a hit and run.

She helped prosecute them in court and had no idea that the black hole went as deep as it did when she pressed charges for basic harassment.

I don't think a short attention span is enough justification to say this is a bad example of a video. If people aren't interested in a subject you can't force them to be interested, but at the same time, the video's visualizations showed without telling where someone who wanted to know more where to look. Even in the video they annotated that this is more of a research jumping off point, that it is indeed a compressed version, and even paid a little lip service to other complications if only to get you going on your own.

I spent a good few hours looking at ISIS, trying to figure it out myself a week before this video came out, now that this video is out it did the same in about 4 and a half minutes. Granted, this is without on demand sourcing of sources, but like I said above, its a great primer. For people that want to know and don't, this is a good place to start. For those who don't care why does it matter?

Many details including how all these people came to power, who was really in the region, how war in this region works, and most importantly not asking the basic question of: "Why are the borders of Iraq important?" (think about it).

Anyone reading this is fully capable of figuring it out on their own, but it takes reading historical accounts how how this region came to be in the state it is in rather than watching a couple of three minute videos and rallying behind western powers again.
