the GOD theory

one person's theory on god.not exactly a new idea,but one that makes religion irrelevant.

Video discusses why it is possible to believe in both science and God, a God that is compatible with the Big Bang and evolution. Is there a plausible purpose behind the Universe consistent with modern astrophysics?

to paraphrase:the universe was created by a creator for the sole purpose of creation.consciousness was created so the creator could experience itself through its own creation.henceforth god experiences itself through everything you experience and your experiences are contextualized through the very universe that god created.
it is interesting to note that though this is not a new philosophical viewpoint and is ancient by many standards,the dominant theologies of our time (the semetic triad) have for centuries deemed this outlook as heresy and punishable by death.
irrelevancy tends to do that to an archaic institution that has outlived its usefulness.
