jacobs ladder-the gaurdian angel

this movie was so under-rated and over looked.mainly due to its heavy use of metaphor and symbolism.
movie goers who were looking for a straight forward psychological thriller walked away angry and confused feeling ripped off.they viewed the ending of this movie as a cheap shot at their intelligence.

i would make the argument that they were not paying attention and instead it was the disgruntled movie goer who allowed his expectation to over-ride what they were watching and is the very reason said expectation fell flat.

this is the pivotal scene where the director actually tells you in a subtle way what he is actually doing with jacob.
this was the "AH HA" scene for me and made this movie so much more intriguing and interesting for me.

i will not spoil the movie for those who may not have seen this fantastic movie but pay attention.adrian lynne is telling you what he is doing.
