The Youngblood Brass Band comes from Oregon, Wisconsin. They combine the inspiration they took from the traditional New Orleans brass band sound with influences from jazz music, improvised music, a decidedly punk ethos, and a strong hip hop component. This particular song is often considered to be "the best". I apologize for the somewhat low quality of the video, but it's really hard to find vids from them on youtube.

Had to post this here since i'm going to see them live in two weeks. Hardly anyone knows about them, and it's a shame because they do really great music, and great songs too.

These guys are amazing, I heard an NPR report on them years ago and nothing since. I actually had heard they'd broken up... good to hear they haven't.
