CaptWillardI am aware that human male pregnancy has been considered feasible by some in the scientific community, and so I admit that I was ALMOST taken in by this. Thankfully the aformentioned link also disclosed this as a hoax (see reference #8). Still, this is a conversation-worthy find, ox. Big upvote.
EDIT: I love how he has that hand-on-the-back pregant walk down.
JAPRupvote for how much time it must have taken to make this.
oxdottirSo, if men could be pregnant, would those who did it get kudos or crap?
laurasoooooooooo well done!![](https://videosift.com/vs5/emoticon/smile.gif)

(My hubby says it sucks, though...)
CaptWillardOx, some people would give the knocked up dudes kudos, but most would give them crap. I'm not at all saying that it's right, that's just what I would expect, especially in America. The Robertsons and the Dobsons of the Christian States of America would be falling all over themselves to castigate the man, the doctors, the scientific community, and Nancy Pelosi for allowing something like this to happen.
oxdottirOh, I think you are right, Captain. Also, I think it is one of those situations where people who are normally enemies would find themselves on the same side of the fence. Fundamentalist Christians won't like it, but neither would Zero Population Growth Environmentalists. I think even some feminists would think it was just a way for men to steal the mojo of women.
One of my favorite parts of the film was the red haired woman who I think was meant to know the story and recognize the pregnant fellow. The way she rattled on was so believable. I am certain the first man who gets pregnant will listen to tons of long pointless stories even from those on his side...
TrancecoachSo, this has got to be fake -- no uterus, no placenta, no growing fetus, no hormonal fluctuations.
oxdottirEctopic pregnancies can be viable (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ectopic_pregnancy). Hormonal fluctuations are completely duplicateable. This is all conceivable (heh heh) science. Is there a demand? I don't know.
9917Well is it fake or is it real? A couple of times It seemed I could see padding. What's the purpose of a hoax like this if hoax it is?
oxdottirIt's a hoax. I think the people who made it think of it as socially relevant art setup to make us think about how we would feel. It's very close to being realizable though. Not sure who would want it...
