So would ANYBODY who can afford the kind of legal counsel Cindy can, have been able to do the same thing, or was this something only someone with high-powered gov connections could have pulled off?

Rich white people get away with being drug addicts/distributors all the time, so I'm not surprised if this is not real news, but it would be interesting if they pulled some strings that can be traced back to John.
