So I assume you literally have a cave on your property. Do you actually own the cave itself? or is it a grey area? I thought the government actually owns the "mining" rights to land. or maybe thats in australia.
CaveBearI went out and bought 40 acres that has a couple of caves on it. I did this because I love caves.
In the US when you own land, you generally own everything underneath it. Once in awhile the mineral rights are separate. Most mineral claims are associated with metal based deposits or coal. Most caves are in non-metal sedimentary deposits, so it is rare that there are mineral claims associated with caves. In some countries like Belize or Cayman Islands, all caves are owned by the government.
