Wetten Das: Extremely non-traditional "Swan Lake"

The frogs at the start are already amazing, but for anyone who knows about ballet, seeing someone be en point on someone else's arm is rather amazing.

This is a mix of traditional ballet moves and acrobatics in a straight performance.

Traditional ballet people wouldn't even call what those frogs did ballet: ballet does not have handstands; ballet does not have flips; ballet does not have men throwing other men. And what that dance did on the man: ballet does not have hyper-extended splits, and while it has lifts and throws, it does not have throws to throws; it does not have shoulderstands at all, much less en point. I turned down to go see these acrobats recently, and now I feel really bad that I didn't go.
