Hi you are looking at a restored Arcade machine , where they used at Piers / Penny Arcades . " The machine isnt playing this music by the way " It works on a Threepence , where the machine is wound up like a Gramophone , and the user views the black and white photos. the monet tin by the way is about the size of a old house brick, and a Threepence back then was pure silver . Just imagine now , if the tin was full. The Brass and Copper alon took one fullday just on the Buff , where the Brass had oxidized in a red colour . The copper , was later discovered . The green was left , as after all those years , there would have been various colours painted over the years . The mounting board , is actaully made from an old sign , where the paint was basically pascall colours back then , where the paint had also cracked . you can also see where the some of the word was "PENNY ARCADE " in a unusual Script . I believe , it was Luna Park In Melbounre for a long time , and made its way to Adelaide , where it was at Semaphore Side Shows for A numbe rof Years .
