From Goldy's blog at The Stranger: For those of you wondering what Donald Trump's appeal is outside the crazy Birther/Neo-Birther camp, you need look no further than last night's speech before a well-lubricated crowd at the Treasure Island casino in Las Vegas, where the Donald dropped multiple F-bombs while accusing our nation's politicians of being "stupid" and "blood-sucking."

Some might call Trump's remarks rude, simplistic or foul-mouthed. But to a lot of Americans—you know, rude, simplistic, foul-mouthed Americans—this is exactly the sort of leadership they crave. I don't think he's running, but if he does, don't discount him. Trump's got more than enough appeal to totally fuck up an already fucked up GOP field.
