A Great Drummer.

Its hard to tell what percent is improve/free-jazz... I would believe him if he said 100%, if he said 0%, or any value in between... but I suspect most of it was worked out, because he knows right where the bass and keys are at all times.

it's one of the wonders of playing music with people... sometimes you are all on the same page. good life lesson.
