Reminds me of when I went to the Imperial sand dunes near Yuma, AZ. Watch a illegal running the border that go so panicked at the sound of an engine that he started running and got hit by a sand rail coming over the crest of a dune about the same time he reached the top of the other side. He was ok, but I don't know if he'd ever try to cross the border there again.

It's really common for mini vans to be stolen in SA and used as buses. Auto theft is such a problem there that it is legal to equip your car with flamethrowers which shoot out the sides (I am not joking).
