csnel3says...There is alot going on in this vid. Rod is at the top of his game , in my opinion.
Ron Wood is awesome on the guitar. Its no wonder the Stones were watching AND stole him.
Ronnie Lane is a rock, He holds the base line tight! Kenny and Ian.... A band of Super heros.
Please comment, This is my first upload.
jonnysays...My first comment is that you should vote for your own vids!
Not the tightest performance - don't know the drummer, but he seems to be the weak link. The drum solo blew chunks, but the keys and guitars were pretty rocking.
csnel3says...Thank you for the feed back Jonny.
The drummer is Kenny Jones. He played for the Who after Kieth Moon passed, and those are some pretty big shoes to fill.
Keith Moon may be the best rock drummer ever. Kenny Jones was Damn good.
Why do you think He was a weak link in this live vid? Not that I'm defending the 1970's drum solo... it didn't age well.
I'm just looking for discussion.
jonnysays...Admittedly, I don't necessarily have the best ear for music, but the timing seemed to slip in a couple of places, and it didn't sound like the bass and organ were out of sync.
When it comes to drum solos, it's hard for me not to compare to mickey and billy.
