I couldn't help but laugh at this scene when I saw it in the theater despite how dark it is. It's just so over-the-top that for a second it broke my immersion in the story. Great film overall, though.

I still hold that Infernal Affairs (the original) was much better than The Departed, although admittedly they are slightly different films.
