I find it odd that a children's movie like Narnia conveys a subtle message that is considered acceptable, yet another movie, The Golden Compass, is contoversial because it conveys a slightly different (yet not entirely opposite) message.

I wish people would let books and movies stand on their own and let people make their own choices without all the calls for bans and boycotts.

Yay! I didn't know they were making sequels. My daughter is reading these right now. We absolutely LOVE Aslan.
