Sepacoresays...It doesn't matter if this type of thing happens in other countries.. it give's no one the right to do horror simulations to someone else (regardless of their age) without them knowing what's going on.. in this case with or without parents consent just to teach them what the conductor thinks is a good lesson.
Where is the research to show this does good for a person? I've never seen it and it's one of the type of studies/subject i pay attention to.
Physical abuse can cause broken bones, damaged to tissue and ligaments etc, these things are more effectively treated by surgeons if ill-advised to be left to heal over time (not necessarily including extreme cases, also not condoning).
Whereas psychological abuse can lead to psychotic breakdowns that potentially destroy a persons personality and grasp on reality causing mental destabilization that can last a lifetime and currently be irreparable.
swedishfriendsays...where are the arrests? Kidnapping is against the law, right? For most crimes you don't have to file a complaint these days so even if no one presses charges they should still be in jail! The reason you kidnap someone shouldn't change whether it is a crime or not.
articianWow. What the hell? It's like someone watched Kevin Smith's Red State and thought: "That seems like a great idea!!"
This makes a great argument against organized religion.

probieYou can't arrest someone for promoting Christ through fear and intimidation. I believe the Church is grandfathered in on that one.
DarkhandThis really doesn't surprise me I spoke to my wife about these things and they sent her to a Christian "Summer Camp"
They wake her up in the middle of the night and had her remove all religious apparel or accessories.
They took all of the camp kids out into the woods and separate them into small groups
They would ask you if you believed in god and if you said yes they would shoot you with the paintball gun to prove how hard it was to be a Christian or whatever in other countries.
They've been doing this shit for years it's no wonder it escalated to this level.
hpqpYoung women are regularly kidnapped and raped for being, well, women, so we can totally do that here, as a "lesson", right?
