Steve Goodman died from leukemia in 1984. He was 36 years old. He was one of the greatest flatpickers to ever strum the strings. He also wrote the City of New Orleans as well as some other amazing songs.

This song is self explanatory.

is this the same Steve Goodman that died in round' 1980??
I think it bees-he was a great songwriter, ok performer-Saw im' live opening for Steve Martin when he was wild and crazyguy.
