Exactly what the title says, except Stephen also puts down a decent time on the Top Gear track.

He drives a Suzuki, but I couldn't make out the model. Perhaps someone from the UK could shed light on it.

It's an Aerio. It's also called Liana, which is the name Jeremy uses.

Perhaps someone else can explain what getting "birched" (sp?) is? Apparently one possible punishment for "loving man on the Isle of Man" and something you can pay to have done to you in certain parts of London. Is it a British term for caning?

Yeah, it's caning essentially. It's apparently illegal to be a homosexual on the Isle of Man, and of course Stephen Fry is gay. I don't know that the actual punishment is birching, but for all I know it may very well be.
