CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) -- Imagine you're playing a video game with your child when you realize the game is taunting one of the characters who's adopted.

Not a big deal, right? Now imagine your child is adopted.

What do you say? How do you handle it?

It happened to one local father and his 10 year old adopted daughter.

Now he and his wife say playing the game, billed as educational and appropriate for anyone older than 10, has forced them to have the most important conversation an adoptive parent will ever have: talking about the birth parents.
