Sexuality, Power, and Seduction

Sexuality is a human condition. Courtship, intercourse, and procreation all stem from our sense of being desired. To some extent, commerce is based on the desire/desired paradigm of supply/demand. It is nothing new, only now it can be transmitted around the world from a lonely little, boring bedroom…by a girl, or maybe a boy, or maybe a boy dressed as a girl…who knows? Right? Wrong? Taboo? Is it right to make a pretty girl work for $5.50 an hour frying potatoes? Is it right to deny the same girl $100 an hour to dance naked in front of a camera for strangers on the other side of the planet? How many of yesterday’s mores apply to tomorrow?

I'm not sure I get the point of this video/description.

Marine, mainly I'm just trying to start a dialogue, to hear what other people think about this...phenomenon...for lack of a better word, of young women/girls dirty dancing for their webcams and uploading the images to YouTube.

Our world is changing quickly, but our views of propriety are not.

There might be another video which addresses this topic more directly, to get your discussion going, roughy. It's certainly one well worth contemplating.

Well, maybe you could embed it into a Sift talk post? That would be kind of weird - a video that's not up for voting on VS - but it's a good place for a discussion. I don't know if it would be appropriate or not to send it to the * blog though. I can't upvote for the video per se, but I could if it had a great discussion going on.
