Define "the law" regarding "taking the law into your own hands."

Why is the law in my hands bad, but in their hands good?

Isn't the law something that we all serve?

Are not the rules the same for us all?

Isn't the law a set of rules that defines right from wrong?

What use is it otherwise?

Isn't the difference between right and wrong, in most cases, self evident?

Isn't the law a golden blessing that we obey for the sake of the greater good?

Or is it nothing more than an act of punishment? A boundary? A restriction? An onus?

Is it but a weight levelled on some but not others?

Does the money in your pocket have anything to do with the justice you'll receive?

Is not justice the end result of law?
