Sweeney Todd at the Tony's

The Broadway Cast of the award-winning Sweeney Todd revival perform at the 60th Tony Awards ceremony. DFT recently took me to see the revival of Sweeney Todd in Los Angeles. We would recommend to all to go and see this if you haven't already! :)

I'm almost tempted to put this in the * cooking channel, but I will behave. ;)

*ugh* the whole "modern goth revival" is so overdone. bad casting, bad character types, simply awful.

How many shows have you seen where the talented cast is ALSO the pit orchestra where they sing, act, and play instruments all at once? On top of the incredible talent, this is also a multi-layered play within a play... okay I'll stop.
