I'm not sure the 80s tag is appropriate. I'm pretty sure this was created in the early 90s. For comparison, would we tag the Empire Strikes Back Alternate Ending as 70s? I don't really care either way, just wondering.

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure about the creation date - good point about the VCR style source video. And on further reflection, I think creation date isn't as important in this case. This is about the 80s much more than the Star Wars spoof is about the 70s. And like I said, I don't really care either way - in fact, if it gets more eyeballs on my post, keep tagging 'em!

Nice research, SG. Xeni thanks filmmaker Andrea James - but it's not clear if she meant for the link or for creating it. Maybe I'll write her and ask. It would be cool to find the source. Anyway - 80s tag is definitely appropriate.

Oh yeah - the VCR quality is, I think, probably due to this getting passed around like Grateful Dead tapes. It's probably several generations away from the original master.
