Robert Welch's 1974 Speech Seems Oddly Premonitory!

Robert Welch, founder of the John Birch Society, lists bad tendencies of government and then lists steps to how government should operate. You'd think he was explaining the economic crisis and overreaching government of today.

He's no fortune teller, conservatives have been making these arguments since long before you and I were born. This country hasn't changed all that much in the last half decade.

He was wrong on pinning his woes on the commies, it turns out corporations were the real threat all along. He was also wrong about taxes, as our taxes are fairly moderate compared with the rest of the free world.

Upvoted because he is a snappy dresser.
