Reid empowers GOP to take Filibuster from Minority Dems

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid concedes that maybe Democratic senators Merkley and Udall were right and the Democrats should've ended the filibuster. The party faces the very real prospect of being in the minority after the 2012 elections so it's a bite late for Reid's change of heart. The Democrats will never be in as much power as they were in 2009 when they had supermajorities in both the House and Senate and a Democratic President.

I'm sure if we keep voting for them.. we'll get progressive policies enacted sooner or later.. right?
