Whatever America stood for died with an illegal war, torture, the Patriot Act and deregulation of the banking system leading to an economic meltdown. I love how indignant people are getting about what Obama is trying in an attempt to fix the country the Republican's broke. It may not work but at least he's trying to take the country forward, not backward.

It's all pretty pathetic. To claim the country is falling apart because of Obama when he has inherited every single disaster the country is facing. I don't recall Obama starting two wars or deregulating the banking system.

I don't really remember Obama selling weapons to Iran either.

Let's just say Reagan had a hell of a lot more to do with ending tyranny than Bill Clinton had with creating jobs or boosting the economy. Clinton took credit for the tech bubble anomaly and a Republican Congress which kept his spending in check. Workfare was a roaring success.

It's funny how the depots of the world always get luckier when a taxocrat (Carter, Obama) is in the White House. Must be a huge coincidence. Considering Reagan was up against a taxocrat Congress, he did damned well. The taxocrats will never find a candidate to top him, nor the Repubs.
