R.E.M. live in Passaic, NJ 6-9-84

Great show, quality sound, and I remember most of the songs from hearing my dad's music as a kid (this concert was performed before I was even born)

Pale Blue Eyes - Second Guessing - Hyena - Letter Never Sent - Harbor Coast - Seven Chinese Brothers - Pretty Persuasion - South Central Rain - Gardening At Night - 9-9 - Windout - Old Man Kensey - Sitting Still - Driver 8 - Carnival Of Sorts (Boxcars) - Radio Free Europe - Little America
rougysays...

I saw them in Boulder in the fall of '85. The Thompson Twins opened for them.

I think that the best concerts you can ever see are of the bands who haven't been 'discovered' yet, when they're still a little raw and pre-packaged.

They did a slow version of "South Central Rain" that night. My girlfriend was mad, but I thought it was a great rendition.
