gluoniumsays...comes off as a dismissable raving lunatic. there are eloquent and persuasive arguments for most of the points he's making, but these aren't them.
rougysays..."Prohibition was a failure..." - true.
"...and so we repeat it again, like we repeated Iraq after the failure of Vietnam." - true.
"Drug abuse is a health problem, not a criminal problem" - true.
"If you don't have any money, you don't get any justice."
I don't see why a person needs to be more eloquent than that.
Enzobluesays...It's also proven that prohibition against anything causes more trouble than it solves. Incarceration increases crime across the board. It's just a matter of what people want to put up with as a collective I guess.
qruelsays...while he is speaking passionately I would not even come close to categorizing him as a raving lunatic. Perhaps because I agree with his opinions. But, If you haven't heard this side of the issues before and are close minded then yes, you might pigeon hole him as a lunatic.
