Parents get 2+ yrs for supplying booze at kid's party

I think the parents should be commended on their actions. They potentially saved some teen's lives.
I know I'll be doing this when I have teens. It's either they get booze from their 'beer guy' and drink it somewhere with no supervision and no one to confiscate keys, and possibly die, OR provide a safe setting. Hell, they may have even prevented rape or a pregnancy.
That guy was a fucking asshat, and kudos to the woman from the magazine. Did that guy really cite drunk driving statistics? Hello, ass hole, that's exactly what the parents prevented!

It would have been just as easy and less irresponsible if the parents and excluded the booze. Giving idiot, know-it-all teens alcohol is the dumbest thing a so called 'responsible' adult can do.

Sure, no booze would have been more ideal as far as responsibility is concerned, you know as well as I do that kids will drink no matter what.

So now what happens to the kids? Put into a home?

Exactly - 2 1/2 years in jail is way too excessive to put BOTH parents away for. If the kid was going to drink anyway, the situation they provided was far safer than the alternative.

Ah, but it's ILLEGAL! ILLEEEEGAL!
