Obama: "You Can Put Lipstick On A Pig, but It's Still a Pig"

Now even though this is a idiomatic expression that has been used in politics for ages (McCain used the same expression to criticize Hillary earlier in his campaign), McCain's camp is using this as an opportunity to peg Obama for using this "sexist" remark, since it comes so soon after Palin described herself as a pitbull wearing lipstick. Go figure.

what a cliche... I would have run with the idea if I were him...

"you can put a fake mustache on a cat,..."
"you can put a sock and some fake tattoos on a snake,..."
"you can put a Members Only jacket on a monkey,..."
"you can put a trucker hat on a dog, and give him a pack of cigarettes and an empty beer can,..."

^ Actually the best line isn't even in the clip. In the same speech he also said "You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, but it's still gonna stink after eight years!"

edit: Minor correction to the Obama quote.
