Obama Bucks: Racist?

For your information: I love fried chicken, watermelon, Kool-Aid, and barbecue ribs.

They aren't drinking the wrong water.. they are drinking the wrong CoolAid!

If there were going to go that far with their idiocy, they should have at least put a bottle of Colt 45 Malt Liquor on the food stamp too.

"My mom was married to my dad..."

Glad we got that out of the way.

"... who is Mexican. So explain to me how she's racist."

Is that how it works?! Sweet. I've got an Indian friend, so i guess now i can join the KKK and it'll all be cool with them other minorities?

Idiots.

To be quite honest, those are probably the most stupid racist stereotypes ever- COOLAID MY MANS, COOLAID! The fact that you can't make fun of a presidential candidate unless you want a news network at your doorstep (because he's black) is the worrying thing.

This guy will probably (and most fortunately) be the next president of the United States- how is the daily news going to deal with this? Will they display a disclaimer everytime they'll make fun of him?

It's kool-aid everyone, with a K and a hyphen.

It's amazing how they just happened to select four things that blacks are stereotyped as loving. I mean, out of all the food that exists out there, this stamp was four for four. Mind boggling.

Making fun of a presidential candidate and re-enforcing stereotypes about his race are completely different. The latter is not appropriate to "make fun of" by the news media as they are generalizations about an entire race, not about Barack Obama himself. If Barack had said something about fried chicken that made headlines or if fried chicken was somehow a large part of his campaign, I would then agree with your point. But it's not, they're racist allusions, and it's not appropriate.

No, it's not.

They weren't making fun of Obama - they were making fun of blacks.

If Obama were white, they wouldn't have used the racial stereotypes in their humor.

They'd probably say he looked too French, but that's about their speed.
