O'Reilly: Protesters Don't Want to Work

From Crooks and Liars --> Bill O'Reilly attacks the Occupy Wall Street protests. He loves the tea party movement protests though. To Billo, the tea party are just folks angry at the government and whenever racist signs were proudly displayed or or voiced by Hank Williams Jr. they were dismissed. Turn to a real grassroots protest and Bill sends his lackey, Jesse Watters to uncover either a heavily edited video clip or one that portrays the protesters to be communists with potty mouths, sorta like he did last night.

in his defense..there ARE lazy people out there..I've met them, I've worked with them. but they're the exception, not the rule. You don't base national policy on what that small percentage of people MIGHT do.

Most people want to go out there and make a difference. They're just sick and tired that their quality of life being determined by their workplace. They're sick and tired of their livelihoods being threatened by people they will never meet.

There are certain things _all_ Americans deserve regardless of whether or not they work, regardless of how much money they make.

You want your gold-plated back-scratcher? then yeah, you gotta work for that. You want that second house or that yacht? Then yeah, work for it. What the right refuses to believe that there are PLENTY of people who have ZERO desire to be rich. They don't want mansions, they don't want expensive cars, they don't want elaborate furnishings. They just want healthcare, they don't want to be bankrupt if they get a major illness, they want education, they WANT a job that isn't going to treat them like shit. No one wants to be a second class citizen.

well he is telling the truth about me, I've been up there protesting and I damn sure don't want to work

course im protesting for hell of it as many of my friends are, 3 of us are on disability.

so we have been showing up mainly for the live music, there's been several bands doing free concerts and such it's been great!

You're too disabled to hold a job but can hang out and go to concerts?

I hope your comment was sarcasm, because the compassion, empathy, and basic human decency of the left is subverted and weakened by people living off of the generosity and hard work of their neighbors for no legitimate reason beyond their own sloth and contemptible selfishness.

I don't want to wish this for any human being, but I really hope there is something very seriously wrong with you, and that's a foreign thought for me to have.

So instead of thinking the worst about someone, I'd prefer to hope they are legitimately impaired in some way that justifies their life of leisure while others work to provide it.

Oh, also, O'Reilly is a complete hypocrite and a tool.

You are ruining it for the people with legitimate concerns. Congratulations!
