No Man's Sky - explore trailer

No Man's Sky is a massive procedurally generated universe, where everything is generated from the animals to the planets to the galaxy.

It's basically old school Star Trek; Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life, boldly go, etc. Then get in a fight with some aliens while your captain shags them. (not sure if the last part will be in the game.

This trailer focuses on the exploration aspect of the game.

I'm really interested in this. The tech behind the procedural generation is fascinating.

Whether it actually plays well enough to be interesting longer term is another question....
