Nick Herbert (American Physicist-Author), best known for his book "
Quantum Reality," appears to be having a good time with his blends of eastern lingo and western physics as he discusses psychedelics and consciousness in an interview with
Andrew Rutajit.
After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University, Herbert took on several posts, in both academia and industry, the most illustrious of which was senior physicist at Memorex Corp. (where he developed new magnetic materials, as well as magnetic, electrostatic and optical measuring devices), plus theoretical work on Lorenz microscopy. He was also senior physicist at Smith Corona where he developed a new theory of xerographic process.
He also held faculty position at Monmouth, IL, where he was assistant professor of physics at Monmouth College.
I encourage you to explore his
website, and his notes on
psychedelic etiquette.
