"Melissa was born in Merced California where she currently resides alone with her daughter. When she was younger, she was in and out of the local psychiatric hospital, and painting became her medicine. Even today, she admits that painting (and her 5 year old daughter) are the only things that keep her life together.

She has many different types of painting that all have one thing in common... her feelings. She paints what she feels and at times, she has even been known to paint what others feel."
