Mind-Blowing Animation: Inside Our Mitochondria

The mitochondrion is known as the "power plant" of the cell. Through oxidative phosphorylation, it synthesizes ATP, the molecule that provides most of the energy that cells use. What's really awesome is that ATP is synthesized with a literal motor, which you can see turning during the video. For more info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_respiration
