I applaud any musician who publicly berates music that he dislikes. Shit bands should be put into their place. Now I've never heard of Wolfmother, and they may not be shit, but that's besides the point.

cmon, I liked Faith no More back in the day, but that was like 20 years ago. I'm pretty sure if the guys from Aerosmith were giving an interview in 1989 behind the stage and Faith no More started performing, they would of said the same thing. 'Faith No More? Who the hell is that?' /or maybe not

People complain that they don't make music like they used to, and when they do people complain that it's just a ripoff...
Personally I like some of their songs, and anyone that pays out on them is really just bitter because they don't have the fans that Wolfmother does.

The dudes busy making music in a day where radio bands either sound the same or sound like they would have rocked ten years ago. I have friends who /love/ Wolfmother, but his reaction was almost exactly my reaction to bands like that.

At any rate, this video makes me cackle in a very happy way.

Mike Patton stands for the evolution and progression of art.
Wolfmother are content with regressing and revelling in music's past.

I think it's obvious whose motives are more admirable.
