Trailer for a documentary about Grand Valley State University's rehearsals and performance of minimalist composer Steve Reich's "Music for 18 Musicians" at Reich's 70th birthday party in New York City.

Nice performance. Too bad they don't include the whole thing.

I've had the pleasure of performing Sextet a few times and Nagoya Marimbas. Performing Reich's music is a religious experience, very hypnotic and euphoric.

Oh glorious. The creativity, the driving melody....the uh, driving melody. I'd rather listen to 4'33" LOLLERSK8 We all know minimalism has to with the necessary talent required for genre.
