Farhad2000says...First Micheal Moore needs to step off his Soap Box and think for once beyond the superficial levels.
Adrenaline when in police confrontations can make you see alot of things, especially if you get pumped up on a suspicion of gun possession. There is so little actual live fire drill training past the police academy, most cadets have only fired their guns sparingly in training. In high risk areas they are exposed to violent crime 24/7, thus they are engaged in that state of mind 24/7. At the same time in my own personal experience, the population at the same time is overly confrontational with the police, see Chris Rock - How Not To Get Your Ass Kicked by the Police. I believe there needs to exist a better bond between the police forces and the civilian population, how the money for that isn't there thus compounding the problem. I hope a resolution is reached by cooperation between the community, the city board and the police forces to reduce crime without losing the publics trust, as I do believe some of the offenses were clear violations and some were accidents, but its so hard to tell the difference sometimes.
Deanosays...Funny but sarcasm taken to the nth degree there. Thought it was quite amusing when he's getting people to join in.
